Copywriter / Online Marketing Specialist

We have an immediate opening for a full-time, entry-level online marketing specialist and copywriter. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn the ins and outs of our digital marketing programs including SEO, PPC ad management, E-mail marketing, web analytics reporting and more. The core focus of this position is linguistics, so exceptional writing skills are a must.

We cater to a growing list of national clients including large online retailers, service providers and an array of smaller businesses in various fields. We are a fast-paced, up-and-coming business so there is ample room for growth within the company for the right person.

This position will require you to be flexible and have the ability to wear several different hats in any given week. Tasks will vary, and specific training must be adhered to.

Our ideal candidate will possess some of the following skills:
• A solid understanding of HTML and a basic understanding of CSS
• Experience working in various content management system environments such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc…
• Basic design and layout skills in Photoshop and Dreamweaver
• A solid familiarity with MS Excel
• A basic understanding of web programming languages

This is an in-house position. No outsourced development firms will be considered. There will be no telecommuting for the first six months. Applicant must be willing to come to work in our office in Bennington, Vermont from 8:00 to 5:00, M-F. Salary range is $30k to $40k DOE.
